The blue columbine seeds I put out last fall have sprouted and are almost as high as they were before the frost killed them.
I have a bad patch of yard outside my back window, that I decided I would dig out and replace sometime this summer, so I decided not to mow it (not that I've had a chance to mow yet this year anyway...) and I see there is a big columbine plant there. It's about five inches high. I had never seen it before. And I've mowed there every year before.
