Oaxaca

When I was in Oaxaca in March, I took a couple of daytime walks around the city. It's a very different city than I'm used to, so everything seemed so photogenic. The locals might feel otherwise.

That city is really photogenic. Nice pictures.

I remember once I was in the historic Pioneer Square district in my city taking pictures of old brick buildings. A guy started a conversation with me, and questioned my choice to take pictures of old things. He was like, "Old things are ugly. I prefer to take pictures of new, nice things." I didn't even know how to explain it to him if he was that far away from me on what "beauty" was.

So much beautiful texture & colour in those walls... We have nothing like that here.
