happened to WFMR? Why is there no classical music station in Milwaukee? What the fuck is wrong with this city? Now we're stuck with a damn 60's, 70's, 80's pop station. Where the HELL am I supposed to go for classical music? (I don't think I own ten classical CD's. And I can't hear them in the car anyway.) I mean it's not like I listened to it *that* much, but there were a whole lot of people who did. You should have heard the uproar a few years ago when that station got rid of all their boring announcers for younger snappier ones. Now they did away with it altogether.

We've got two hard rock stations (one of which used to play alternative stuff), and a classic rock station that gets more boring every year (they tend to drop their more adventurous music in favor of Least Common Denominator stuff so businesses and stores will play it). No blues station. No jazz station. We now have four varieties of pop stations.

The only saving grace we have is WMSE.

wmse.org has been performing well this week. I haven't been getting that buffering thing.

I like to believe I'm a helpful guy, but sometimes I dont think. Today as I was going into McD, I came in the outer door, and a woman was going out. Sometimes I don't actually stop to hold a door for a person, but I kind of hold it open as I pass, so it doesn't close all the way for them. That's what I did this time. I guess I was kind of in a hurry to get inside, since a girl was holding the inner door for me. As I looked back I saw that the door I had sort of held had almost closed completely, and the woman had to open it with her foot, because she was holding something in each hand.

:-(

Good job.
